Labor News: Progress Reported in Verizon-CWA-IBEW Labor Talks, Key Issues Remain
“Progress continues to be made” in the Verizon-CWA-IBEW labor talks, reported Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service (FMCS) Director George H. Cohen on August 15 after three weeks of intensive negotiations. However, Cohen added, “a number of core issues remain to be resolved.” No details were being released as the talks continued.
