Labor Humor: Listen Carefully
A young woman was looking for work and found herself at Megacorp’s human resources office. She completed a written test, and then found herself face-to-face with an interviewer.
+++The interviewer said, “You choose: answer either ten easy questions or one very difficult one.”
+++The young woman thought for a while and said, “I choose one very difficult question.”
+++“Well, good luck, you have made your choice,” said the man. “Tell me, what comes first, day or night?”
+++The young woman waited for a while and said, “It’s the day, sir.”
+++“How?” the interviewer demanded triumphantly.
+++“Sorry, sir, but you said you would ask only one difficult question.”
+++She got the job.
